Operations Manager. Cirencester. Salary Negotiable. Full Time.

We here at Witton Recruitment are working alongside a successful distribution client looking to grow and continue growth by implementing a new Operations Manager.


As Operations Manager you will responsible of planning, co-ordination and control of all resources associated with the Warehouse and Production Area to enable the smooth flow of materials within planned schedules and dispatch on time.


This role will be ensuring all areas of the operation add value for Customers, Employees and the Company.


Your Operations Manager will include the following responsibilities:


  • To ensure adherence to all Health and Safety policies adopted by the client. Ensuring and developing systems and processes in place to meet H&S responsibilities
  • To motivate, manage, train and develop team workers, taking responsibility for the counselling’s and identify training and development needs
  • Managing and control costs, yields and giveaway within all departments
  • To maintain excellent GMP standards at all times across the site, both internally and externally. Delivering quality standards
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with the product specification to deliver products within agreed quality parameters
  • Managing and controlling data collection systems, monitoring processes and ensuring that all documentation and communication is processed and delivered to the cross functional departments, as required on a timely and regular basis
  • To ensure set KPI’s are met with the resources at your disposal and report reason’s when not met
  • People management responsibilities



The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:


  • Background within Operations Management with a keen desire to grow within a company
  • Previous team management exposure motivating and treating everyone’s development individually
  • Adhering to performance management systems
  • Ability to converse with customers, suppliers, contractors, consultants and other third party agencies
  • A willing desire to grow within a client becoming fundamental and developing staff
