Production Scheduler. Perm. South Cerney. Salary negotiable on experience


Due to exciting period of growth over the past two years, we are looking for a Production scheduler to work in a growing department. The role encompasses both planning and forward thinking with regards to time-frames and cost, alongside managing the overall stock processes to ensure complete availability upon request. This could be a next step for someone who is in an allocation or buying position. Our client offers extremely competitive salaries and excellent benefits.


The role will include:

  • Working in a busy production department
  • Analysing forecast plans and project plans to ensure the department is fully prepared for demand
  • Dealing with customer queries and external suppliers
  • Looking at ways to improve processes and streamline the sale to production process
  • Looking at ways to maximise profitability, cost saving analysis
  • Creating, maintaining and updating a demand plan
  • Create strong working relationships with other areas of the business such as sales and accounts, to ensure full ability to supply In line with allocated time-frames
  • Monitoring stock levels and utilising previous reports reflecting the sales to ensure ability to create informed forecasts
  • Keeping up to date with order schedules and assisting with shop floor when required


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a working knowledge of SAP , MRP and ordering processes
  • Be extremely commercially aware
  • Have strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Be from an engineering background would be advantageous
  • Have strong analytical skills
